Scotsburn, Victoria

This modern farmhouse is currently under construction on open farmland in the hills of Scotsburn. Painted bagged brick and vertical timber cladding sit under a steep Monument metal roof. Timber-framed windows with colonial bars add traditional detail. Inside, 3-metre ceilings run through a central gallery to the living, library and kitchen spaces, which are anchored by a 3.5-metre island and a Mt Gambier stone chimney
